Senior UI/UX Designer – Shape the Future of Digital Healthcare
Are you a creative problem-solver with a passion for designing intuitive digital experiences that truly make a difference? We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join a forward-thinking digital team that’s transforming how healthcare services are delivered and experienced.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of designing user-first solutions that span web and mobile platforms. You’ll collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and product teams to bring ideas to life -ensuring every interface is not only functional but also accessible, elegant, and impactful.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing with Purpose: Create clean, user-friendly interfaces that meet real-world needs, with a strong focus on accessibility and usability.
- Driving Best Practice: Champion modern design principles and contribute to the evolution of design systems and standards.
- Collaborating Across Teams: Work within agile, cross-functional teams to deliver design work that aligns with strategic goals.
- Prototyping and Testing: Develop interactive prototypes to support user research and validate design decisions.
- Supporting Development: Partner with front-end developers to ensure seamless implementation of your designs.
- Mentoring and Sharing Knowledge: Guide junior designers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
- A strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and mobile design projects.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- A solid understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience working with design systems and component-based design.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience in user research, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), and iterative design processes.
- Exposure to regulated environments or complex user needs (e.g., healthcare, public services).

Salary for this role is up to £54K DOE.
