The Opportunity
Reporting to the Programme Director, you’ll take ownership of project delivery across key government frameworks, ensuring services are implemented effectively and supported throughout their lifecycle. You’ll be instrumental in managing technical service launches, resolving engineering challenges, and driving continuous improvement in service management.
This role offers a unique blend of hands-on project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic oversight—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-contract environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of MOD projects across multiple contracts, producing and maintaining high-quality documentation (PMPs, risk registers, schedules).
 - Maintain oversight of all active projects, ensuring alignment with contractual scopes and internal service readiness.
 - Act as a key contact for technical issue resolution and service support.
 - Support the development of service management and planning functions.
 - Represent the organisation at customer meetings, ensuring technical and commercial alignment.
 - Contribute to bid writing and tender responses for MOD and government opportunities.
 - Take on line management responsibilities as the team expands.

- Strong project management experience within MOD or UK government departments.
 - Technical understanding of electrical/electronic systems, IT networking, and satellite communications.
 - Commercial awareness and familiarity with MOD contracting processes (Defence Digital, DE&S).
 - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
 - Highly organised, self-sufficient, and able to manage competing priorities.
 - Degree in engineering or science preferred, but not essential.
 - Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing project demands.

Why Apply?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering mission-critical services to UK defence and government clients. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working on high-profile projects with real-world impact. If you’re customer-focused, technically astute, and ready to take ownership of complex programmes—this role is for you.
