Service and Reporting Manager - Asana
Greater London Authority (GLA) are looking to recruit a Service and Reporting Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery, development and optimisation of the GLA’s centralised project and portfolio management tool, Asana. This system underpins how teams across the GLA deliver work, including a set of high-profile and diverse Mayoral Delivery Programmes.
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across the GLA, Asana specialists and project lead to ensure the tool is effectively implemented, adopted and continuously improved. You will play a central part in supporting users, maintaining technical standards and producing high-quality, insightful reporting for senior leaders and political stakeholders.

Contract duration: 3-month (with a view to extend if all goes well)
Pay rate: £35.13 per hour PAYE or £45.74 per hour Umbrella (equivalent annual salary of £67,590)
Location: Hybrid work – 2 days in the office based near Southwark and London Bridge stations.
What you will be doing?
- Providing portfolio-level oversight and using Asana’s portfolio views to monitor progress, alignment and outcomes, feeding this insight into corporate reporting.
- Building strong working relationships across the GLA and with external stakeholders to ensure teams are using the tool effectively and consistently.
- Producing clear, accurate and engaging reports and analyses for senior leaders, committees and boards.
- Defining and maintaining the GLA’s project and portfolio management standards, ensuring Asana configurations and Power BI interfaces align with established governance frameworks.
- Ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency and compliance across all project and programme records.
- Providing responsive day-to-day user support and coordinating with Asana and IT teams where required.
- Leveraging additional Asana features as part of the next phase of the GLA’s implementation.
- Leading user acceptance testing for new features and assessing enhancement requests for strategic relevance and system consistency.
- Managing the transition of new functionality from deployment into business-as-usual operation.
- Leading onboarding, training and engagement activities through a network of Asana leads and champions across the organisation.
- Overseeing and responding to queries received via the Asana inbox.
- Collaborating across teams and disciplines, embracing flexible working and supporting cross-organisational initiatives.
