Sourcing Manager

A leading global financial services institution is seeking an experienced and proactive Sourcing Manager to join its London-based Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) team. This role is pivotal in managing external spend across UK and international locations, particularly supporting IT infrastructure sourcing requirements. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk, delivering strategic sourcing solutions and ensuring regulatory compliance.

This is an initial 3-month contract role based in Central London and the daily rate is up to £530 per day via an Umbrella company (Inside IR35), the role offers excellent flexibility and hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects across IT, Non-IT, and Professional Services categories
• Ensure competitive and cost-effective procurement aligned with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct formal contract reviews and support contract remediation in line with regulatory changes (e.g., DORA)
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
• Present complex financial data clearly to diverse audiences
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk
• Maintain accurate procurement records using tools such as Ivalua, Ariba, and other eProcurement platforms

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in IT procurement across all subcategories, ideally within financial services or a large blue-chip environment
• Ability to manage medium-sized projects in Non-IT and Professional Services categories
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Familiarity with public procurement tools and platforms (e.g., Ivalua, Ariba)
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
