Storage Engineer - SC CLEARED

We are seeking a Storage Engineer to join our Project Management community due to a significant increase in project work. This role will involve implementation, upgrade, migration of storage devices, and general support activities.

• Perform implementation, upgrade, and migration projects for storage devices.
• Provide 2nd to 3rd line support for storage devices.
• Work closely with the existing team to complement and enhance project delivery.
• Engage in general support activities as necessary to ensure smooth operations.

• At least 5-10 years’ experience in implementing, migrating to/from, and supporting storage devices.
• Good knowledge of file and block storage technologies.
• Proficient with Dell EMC storage devices and Unisphere.
• Experienced with Brocade SAN Switches and SanNav.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven problem-solving ability.
• Proactive approach to personal workload management.
• Awareness of the ITIL Service Management framework, specifically incident and change management.
• Clearance Required: Local government / SC required.

• Experience with Veritas NetBackup.
• Good knowledge of NetApp & Hewlett Packard storage devices.
• General knowledge of HBA configuration, Multipathing & general use of various server operating systems – Windows, Linux (RHEL & SLES), AIX, and Solaris.
