Global Supply Chain Manager Vacancy

We are seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to establish essential guidelines for Procurement & Logistics, ensuring consistency, cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and adequacy of the supply chain process. This role involves oversight and facilitation of the purchase strategy, management of a global team, and optimization of logistics processes across all regions.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Establish procurement as a centre of excellence, leveraging tools like Netsuite to finalize documentation and train new policies and workflows.
- Maintain knowledge of the market to ensure current prices and fair rates for goods.
- Plan policies and procedures for purchasing goods efficiently, honestly, economically, and productively.
- Monitor, review, and analyse bids and quotes with suppliers, including negotiating service agreements and contracts.
- Evaluate suppliers, products, and services to ensure purchases are cost-effective and of high quality.
- Engage stakeholders positively using problem-solving and proactive communication skills.
- Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to establish inventory safety stock levels, reorder amounts, and lead times for all materials and finished goods.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers.
- Manage Price Lists and updates.
- Monitor and manage ISO required policies for all vendors ensuring compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of procurement-related experience, with a strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Expert knowledge of supply chain management best practices, strategic sourcing, inventory management, and purchasing systems.
- Superior negotiation skills and a strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Previous supervisory or management experience, with demonstrated experience in continuous business improvement processes.
