We are seeking an efficient and enthusiastic Precision Farming Support Assistant to join our well-established team at our Head Office. This role is ideal for someone passionate about agriculture and technology, offering support in telematics and precision farming to our valued customers.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide telematics and Precision Farming support to customers, handling enquiries via the help line from the Maldon Sales Office.
• Install, set up, and maintain customer telematics accounts, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and kept up-to-date.
• Manage subscriptions and activations for correction signals and telematics, offering clear advice and guidance as needed.
• Deliver system training to customers, helping them maximise the benefits of their telematics and Precision Farming equipment.
• Use initiative to troubleshoot issues, liaise with colleagues, and escalate matters where appropriate to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of GPS operating systems and the precision farming market is desirable; however, candidates with related skills are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in an agriculture-related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and trustworthily.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the capability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in both written communication and numerical data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-motivated, approachable, and a team player, with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Full driving licence is required.
