System Support Analyst

Are you passionate about IT and ERP systems? Do you have a knack for simplifying processes and supporting business-critical applications? We’re working with a business in Norwich that’s looking to hire an ERP & IT Support Specialist to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous ERP experience who is looking to grow their skills and make a real impact across the business. You’ll be instrumental in supporting, administering, and developing their Sage X3 ERP system, while also delivering first-line IT support to users across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on IT support for on-site and remote users (hardware, software, systems).
  • Take ownership of ERP support – understand how it supports different departments and help optimise and simplify its use across the business.
  • Play a key role in ERP integrations and implementations, helping departments translate needs into system improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems and infrastructure (Windows Server, networks, user accounts, devices, etc.).
  • Assist in ongoing system developments and enhancements of the Sage X3 environment.
  • Travel occasionally to other UK/EU sites as needed.

Essential:

  • Solid experience in an office or helpdesk IT role.
  • Experience working with ERP systems – implementations/integrations and support.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server environments, networks, and basic SQL/database concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

Beneficial:

  • Strong Excel and Office 365 skills (e.g., advanced filtering, lookups).
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, batch files).
  • Familiarity with ECOMM platforms like Amazon, Magento, Shopify.
  • Experience working in the Retail industry.
