Systems Configuration Analyst
Reed Technology is working with a prestigious organisation in Glasgow, currently seeking to hire a Systems Configuration Analyston a 12-month contract (Inside IR35).
The role focuses on supporting the organisation in gaining a clear and comprehensive understanding of the configuration of one of its existing systems. Responsibilities include analysing the behaviour of key components, documenting operational logic, and developing an effective method for storing and managing this information. The position will also assist in transitioning this system configuration into a new systems environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and document system configuration by working closely with operational teams and systems contractors to assimilate the complex configuration logic.

Design and present configuration information in a clear, manageable, and future-proof format to support the continued operations.

Support the migration of configurations into a suite of new systems, helping to adapt existing logic and data to enable improved public-facing services.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in analysing, capturing, and presenting complex information from a range of diverse sources.
- Strong capability in developing processes and tools for managing systems configuration data effectively.
- Experience with IT architecture and data systems, including understanding of how system components integrate.
- Background in systems configuration management and involvement in systems transition or change programmes.
