REED Technology are recruiting for a Senior Network Automation Engineer to join a major enterprise technology environment delivering complex data centre and network transformation programmes.

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of Network Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps delivery within large-scale production environments where resilience, governance and repeatability are critical.

You'll play a key role in transforming approved network designs into production-ready automation solutions, helping drive consistency and efficiency across large-scale migration and change programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building enterprise-scale network automation solutions
  • Developing Infrastructure-as-Code workflows for Cisco data centre environments
  • Creating and optimising CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrating with platforms such as NetBox, ServiceNow and Ansible Automation Platform
  • Supporting complex migration and transformation programmes
  • Automating network validation, testing and deployment activities
  • Collaborating with design, delivery and operations teams

Skills & Experience

  • Strong Cisco NX-OS and VXLAN EVPN experience
  • Proven Python automation expertise
  • Experience building automation in production environments
  • Strong Git/GitOps and CI/CD knowledge
  • Experience with Ansible Automation Platform
  • Background in large-scale network transformation programmes
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

This role would suit a Senior Network Automation Engineer, Network DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Automation Engineer or a Network Engineer who has moved into large-scale automation delivery.
