Reed is recruiting for a Technical Officer to support a Local Land Charges Migration Project within a local authority in Maidenhead.
This project-focused role will play a key part in transferring Local Land Charges data to HM Land Registry, helping to investigate, cleanse and resolve historical data issues whilst ensuring the accuracy of spatial and property records.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the migration of Local Land Charges data to HM Land Registry
- Investigate and resolve deferred records and data discrepancies
- Review planning application records and historical planning information
- Retrieve, analyse and update records across multiple systems
- Work with GIS and spatial data to identify and correct mapping issues
- Research historic planning files, archived records and land charge information
- Compare data across planning and land charge systems
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data quality standards are met
- Liaise with technical colleagues and service areas to resolve queries
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience working with GIS, spatial data or mapping systems
- Strong data administration and data quality skills
- Experience investigating and resolving data discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with databases and multiple business systems
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Good Excel skills
Desirable Experience
- Uniform Planning System experience
- Local Authority experience
- Planning, Land Charges or Property Services background
- Experience interpreting planning drawings and plans
- Spatial plotting experience
