Test Manager

• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Location: Warrington (3 days a week on-site)
• Job Type: Contract, inside IR35

Reed Professional Services is seeking an experienced Test Manager to join a dynamic team supporting several active programmes with our client. This role involves hands-on testing and assuring the quality of testing carried out by a Service Integrator (SI). The successful candidate will be fully embedded within the team, taking ownership of test planning, governance, and assurance.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Develop and execute end-to-end test plans across multiple programmes.
• Hold the Service Integrator accountable for test deliverables, quality, and timelines.
• Provide independent test assurance and ensure testing protections are in place on both sides.
• Support and guide testing activities across data migration, configuration, and implementation workstreams.
• Oversee testing related to infrastructure, cloud, and application modernisation changes.
• Conduct hands-on testing where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong background as a Test Manager within large, complex programme environments.
• Proven ability to manage and challenge Service Integrators.
• Experience in:
  • Data migration
  • Configuration & implementation
  • Azure cloud migration
  • Infrastructure projects
  • SharePoint (modern/cloud) modernisation
  • Legacy application modernisation
  • DevOps and test automation practices
• Ability to provide both delivery and assurance of testing activities.
• A collaborative team-player who can integrate quickly.
