We are seeking Testers with varying levels of technical ability and experience to join our dynamic Networks Practice. This role is ideal for candidates with advanced testing skills who are capable of performing in-depth analysis of technical and business specifications. The successful candidate will be involved in the development of test plans, may lead a small test team, and will perform testing development and execution activities that require specialist skills in testing toolsets. This is a fast-paced environment offering opportunities for growth and skill enhancement.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Create test cases and identify test data in response to clearly defined requirements, including areas of technical testing specialism.
• Execute test cases and record test results in accordance with established test plans.
• Check test results and report findings.
• Log, investigate, and support test incidents (defects).
• Collect testing-related measurements and metrics.
• Organize test materials, environments, tools, and resources required to deliver planned testing activities.
• Coordinate the delivery of testing against the schedule, reporting test progress, risks, and incidents.
• Create high-quality test plan documents for small to medium projects or discrete pieces of work that address requirements and mitigate risks.
• Accountable for the deliverables of the test team for a small project to an agreed schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to produce accurate test cases that address clearly defined requirements.
• Capability to produce test cases with an appropriate level of technical detail for the target audience responsible for test execution.
• Proficiency with testing tools, e.g., JIRA.
• Use of risk to identify where more or less testing is required based on testing outcomes.
• Ability to produce clear and unambiguous test plans that address project requirements and risks and contribute to test strategy.
• Effective communication of the testing strategy and plans throughout the project and customer teams.
• Demonstrable troubleshooting skills and approach to defect resolution.
• Successfully delivers all testing activities in the test plans within forecast and timescale constraints.
