A leading NHS specialist trust is undertaking a major digital transformation with the implementation of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, integrating Meditech Expanse and OpenEyes. To support this programme, we are recruiting a Temporary EPR Trainer to join the team on a 12-month contract.
This role is essential to the successful delivery of high-quality, role-based training to approximately 2,300 staff members across clinical and non-clinical areas. The trainer will contribute to the development of training materials, deliver classroom and e-learning sessions, and provide post go-live support.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver practical, role-specific training aligned with clinical and operational workflows.
- Develop lesson plans, user guides, and e-learning content using Articulate 360.
- Support super user onboarding, pilot sessions, classroom training, and floorwalking.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams to ensure training content meets evolving programme needs.
- Maintain accurate training records using the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Contribute to achieving a 95% training completion rate ahead of the May 2026 go-live.
- Demonstrable experience delivering EPR training in NHS or healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Articulate 360, Microsoft Office, and LMS platforms (preferably Kallidus Learn).
- Experience delivering training across one or more clinical domains such as Outpatients, Inpatients, A&E, Theatres, Order Communications, or ePMA.
- Confident in delivering both face-to-face and virtual training sessions.
- Experience in super user engagement, classroom delivery, and post go-live support.
- The role requires regular on-site presence in London (minimum 3 days per week, increasing to 5 during peak periods).
- Travel to other sites across the trust’s network will be required.
