We are seeking a dedicated Transport & Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing logistics and operations to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
- Ensure premises, assets, and communications are used effectively.
- Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize procedures.
- Recruit and coordinate logistics staff according to availability and requirements.
- Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment.
- Ensure the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Monitor the status of the transportation of goods, ensuring they are delivered on time.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to transportation efficiently.
- Supervise, coach, and train the workforce.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Transport & Operations Coordinator or a similar role.
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in standard logistics software.
