About the Role

Are you an experienced technology leader with deep expertise in VMware and the delivery of secure, large-scale infrastructure solutions? We are seeking a VMware Architect to lead technical teams in transforming a complex, mission-critical environment for a major defence programme.

This is a unique opportunity to shape strategy and roadmap for IaaS, PaaS, and workplace services, driving innovation and efficiency across a high-profile programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive technical delivery from design through to live deployment.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to deliver across multiple technology areas.
• Provide input into strategic direction and roadmaps for VMware solutions.
• Ensure architecture governance and compliance with security and design standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering secure, resilient, large-scale IaaS, PaaS, and workplace solutions.
• Expertise in VMware vCenter, vCloud Foundation, vCloud Director, VMware Horizon, App Volumes.
• Strong problem-solving and design thinking capabilities.
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
