VP Sales

This VP Sales role is working for a rapidly-growing SaaS business within the GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) space, which (despite how it may sound) is an increasingly exciting, evolving & growing sector. 

  • Your primary responsibility will be to manage & grow their UK sales team (both AE's & Account Managers) in a typical Sales Leader role. 
  • Alongside managing the current personnel, you'll simultaneously look to aggressively expand the team
  • You'll have 100% autonomy over the GTM strategy & sales playbooks for the UK region.
  • We're looking for someone who is a somewhat of a visionary - someone who can plan for the long-term, as opposed to just focusing on next month's/quarter's number. 
  • We want to see experience of multi-year planning - designing, implementing & executing on long-term strategies, that might not turn to profit for 2-3 years. 
  • Linked to this, we're looking for someone who can spot opportunities for adding additional revenue streams.  This could be new markets (i.e. they currently don't have any public sector customer) or new approaches (i.e. they don't have any alliance/channel partnerships)

Key Experience

  • Must have led & scaled a SaaS sales team, ideally within a fast-paced, scaleup environment
  • GRC experience would be a definite advantage, but not a prerequisite. 
  • Ideally, you'll be well versed with managing Enterprise, Mid Market & SMB Account Executives 
  • You'll have a track record of exceeding your team quota targets, with a sales methodology that both gets results & encourages accurate forecasting.
  • Whilst this role isn't a "player-manager" post, experience of generating & closing your own SaaS deals at some point in your career is seen as being a must.   
  • Someone with experience of public sector SaaS wins and/or creating a partner network could be advantageous.     

The role will be hybrid (Central London Head Office), it's offering a £130,000 - £150,000 basic salary + Double OTE (uncapped).
