Warehouse Technician - PAT Tester

Hours: 35 hours per week, 10am - 6pm, working 5 days out of 7
Salary: From £27,744 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with testing, fault-finding and soldering skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will be responsible for the inspection, repair, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment and cables, ensuring that all equipment is safe, compliant and ready for operational use.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and manufacture a variety of cables, including power and specialist cables
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and fault-find
• Carry out PAT testing on electrical equipment
• Maintain high levels of productivity, quality and efficiency
• De-prep, inspect and test equipment
• Barcode and register new equipment into inventory systems
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the warehouse
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures

About You

• Demonstrable experience inspecting and testing electrical equipment
• Competent PAT Tester
• City & Guilds 2377 Portable Appliance Testing qualification (or equivalent)
• Excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Flexible to work occasional overtime and weekends during peak periods
