Overview

My client, a leader in the public sector, is seeking an SC cleared web developer to support a strategic transformation programme within their Learning and Development function. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in HTML, CSS, and JAVA, and demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high-quality, user-centric web solution in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom landing pages and front-end components within the LMS to support enhances learning pathways.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including instructional designers, programme leads, and LMS administrators, to translate requirements into effective digital solutions.
• Ensure all development adheres to accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and organisational branding guidelines.
• Maintain clean, well-documented code and apply best practices in web development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple browsers and devices.

Essential Skills

• Demonstratable experience in front-end web development, ideally within a LMS context.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JAVA
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, such as Moodle, Cornerstone, Success Factors or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive web design.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Desirable Attributes

• Experience with SCORM, xAPI, or other e-learning standards.
• Prior experience or involvement in digital transformation or change management projects.
