Windchill (Creo) Administrator – £45,000 to £50,000

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Windchill (Creo) Administrator to spearhead the configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of my client's PTC Windchill PLM and Creo CAD systems. This is a pivotal role where your expertise will directly impact engineering efficiency, product quality, and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• System Leadership: Own the Windchill PLM system—manage user access, workflows, lifecycles, and data structures.
• Creo Integration: Ensure seamless CAD data management through robust Creo-Windchill integration.
• Performance & Reliability: Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime.
• Process Innovation: Define and implement PLM best practices across engineering and product development.
• Training & Adoption: Empower teams with training, documentation, and support to maximize system usage.
• Standard Parts Library: Build and maintain a centralized library of standard components to streamline design and manufacturing.
• Collaboration: Be the go-to expert for Windchill support, working closely with IT, Engineering, and external partners.

Who You Are

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience with PTC Windchill and Creo Parametric in a production setting.
• Deep understanding of PLM principles, CAD data management, and engineering workflows.
• Skilled in Creo-Windchill configuration, system performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong communicator with the ability to train users and promote system adoption.
• Experience developing and managing standard parts libraries.

Desirable Extras:

• Windchill Certification (PTC Windchill University).
• Familiarity with modules like PDMLink, PartsLink, and Classification.
• Background in mechanical or product engineering.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Windchill APIs, Java, XML).
