Agile Delivery Manager

Reed.co.uk is looking for an Agile Delivery Manager to join their team in Holborn, London.

Overview

You will lead the successful delivery of high-impact strategic initiatives across the organisation, guiding them through the full Product Delivery Lifecycle. From inception to completion, you'll take ownership of end-to-end project and programme management, working closely with agile teams to bring ideas to life and deliver tangible results.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide direction to cross-functional teams for successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure initiatives align with business goals and objectives.
  • Partner with leads to build unified roadmaps, project plans, and scope new initiatives.

Data & Team Management

  • Maintain accuracy of product and delivery tools.
  • Establish effective ways of working, monitor KPIs, and drive team efficiency.
  • Motivate and support teams, resolve conflicts, and facilitate planning and prioritisation.

Risk & Compliance

  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage DPIAs and ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection standards.

Stakeholder & Financial Management

  • Communicate progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Track costs, value, and ROI; manage requisitions, POs, and invoices.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Support contract, vendor, and partner relationships to ensure compliance and alignment with goals.
  • Manage RFP processes and evaluate proposals with stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Challenge and improve processes to maximise value delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends and integrate best practices.
  • Foster collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing across teams.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven delivery and/or ongoing management of digital products.
  • Experience in delivering projects within an Agile development framework, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum, Kanban techniques, and artefacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
  • Proven end-to-end delivery of web and mobile applications.
  • 3+ years in the field of agile project management.
  • Good understanding of the full development cycle, including feature sizing/estimation and team velocity reporting.
  • Experience in managing offshore development teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Experience in delivering complex strategic initiatives.
