Junior Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Analytics Engineer to join our Analytics Engineering team, with a focus on supporting our commercial team and data. This is an exciting opportunity to hone your skills with the modern data stack while working closely with sales, finance and data teams to deliver robust reporting and insights. You will play a key role in building scalable data pipelines, maintaining reliable reporting frameworks, and ensuring the accuracy of commercial data that powers decision-making across the business. This role would suit someone who is starting their career in Analytics Engineering and is keen to learn quickly from an experienced team and is not afraid to get their hands dirty.

• Be the first point of contact for all Commercial data requests. Investigate these requests and either solve them or triage them.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a best-in-class Looker setup, supporting dashboards and Explores that drive adoption and value across the business.
• Partner with commercial stakeholders to understand reporting needs, translating them into effective Looker solutions that support sales performance and revenue growth.
• Develop, document, and distribute Looker reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and usability.
• Build and maintain robust data models in DBT and Snowflake, ensuring clean, trustworthy data flows into reporting.
• Support data integrity within Salesforce and other commercial data sources, enhancing quality and enabling consistent reporting.
• Automate ingestion and transformation of financial and commercial data where needed, streamlining reporting processes.

• Some experience with a Business Intelligence tool such as Looker, Tableau, Power Bi or similar
• Good SQL skills, you know your way around a database.
• Some exposure to a cloud-based data warehouse such as Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query or similar.
• Some knowledge of ETL/ELT and data automation.
• A desire to work with complex Salesforce detail and master that data.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with commercial stakeholders.
• A proactive, learning mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
