SEO Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute effective SEO strategies, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to enhance organic search visibility and drive targeted traffic.

• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to inform campaign strategies.

• Oversee and analyse website and campaign performance as well as optimise marketing activity using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.

• Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-optimised content strategies.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging best practices.

• Generate performance reports and provide actionable insights to clients and stakeholders.

• Test and implement new strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and conversion rates.

• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and digital advertising best practices.

• Proficiency in tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz or Screaming Frog as well as various social media ad platforms.

• Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

• Strong project management and organisational skills.

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Knowledge of PPC, Social Media, Email Marketing, Web Dev Tools and Content Marketing is a bonus

Essentials:

  • Developing, implementing and owning marketing strategies, aligned with goals and budgets.
  • Monitoring, analyse, and report on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations to optimise results.
  • Hands-on, delivery-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Confident in planning, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns.
  • Proven experience running digital marketing campaigns, either in an agency or in-house setting.
  • Strong writing skills for web content, newsletters, and social media, with impeccable spelling and grammar.
  • Solid understanding of SEO and organic content strategies.
  • Results-driven, with a track record of growing traffic, conversions, and client retention.

Requirements:

- 2 years+ exp in SEO within an agency or client side environment.

- Proven track record of successfully managing SEO campaigns with measurable results.

- Expertise with SEO tools (e. g. , SEMrush).

- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.

- Excellent understanding of current SEO trends.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
