ReeVR Talent are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our clients growing manufacturing business based in the Abingdon area.

The Assembly Technician will have practical assembly experience and be comfortable working from technical drawings and following detailed manufacturing and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities for the Assembly Technician

  • Carry out hands on assembly of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Read and interpret Engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Complete soldering and crimping of electrical components and connections.
  • Work within a cleanroom manufacturing environment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality and to wear appropriate PPE.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, manufacturing instructions and safety procedures.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet required quality standards.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.
  • Work as part of a small, collaborative manufacturing team.

About the Assembly Technician

  • Previous hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with soldering and/or crimping.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Comfortable working to standard procedures and safety requirements.
  • Ideally experienced working within a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Reliable, practical and keen to develop within a growing manufacturing business.
