Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer

IDAM / IAM Engineer sought, with SC Clearance

We are seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management, IDAM / IAM Engineer to join a specialist End User Compute IT services provider, modernising secure digital workplaces for high-profile UK Central Government departments.

As Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM / IDAM) Engineer you will enable the delivery of efficient secure and compliant account lifecycle processes across BAU, audit support, and act as an escalation point for internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• IAM / IDAM administration
• Create new user accounts / Process account deletions
• Execute name changes via ServiceNow requests
• Troubleshoot and resolve account-related issues
• Assist with account setup for Joiners, Movers and Leavers (JML)
• Escalation point for 2nd line and JML team
• Governance & audit support

Required Skills

• Okta identity federation, SSO & user lifecycle management
• Managing users and groups in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory / EntraID
• M365 admin of identity components (Exchange Online, Teams & SharePoint permissions)
• Access control frameworks (Role-Based Access Control RBAC, Least Privilege Access, Zero Trust security models.
• Authentication and authorisation troubleshooting
• Audit readiness and compliance documentation
• Service Now

6 month contract. Market rate outside IR35. Role is based in Central London. Hybrid working 3 days in / 2 days WFH.
