Storage Solution Architect (United Kingdom)

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Storage Solution Architect to join our team on a fully remote basis. This role is crucial for the design and migration of systems from Unity to Vplex and PowerStore. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Role Overview: As a hands on Solution Architect, you will be responsible for creating volumes on PowerStore, installing and advising on migration tools, and designing block data migration processes. Experience in data storage systems such as Unity, Vplex, and PowerStore systems are required.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the migration from Unity to Vplex and PowerStore.
• Create volumes on PowerStore as needed.
• Install and advise on migration tools, including Carbonite Migrate.
• Design block data migration processes for PowerStore and Unity.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless migration.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect.
• Expertise in Unity, Vplex, and PowerStore systems.
• Familiarity with migration tools such as Carbonite Migrate.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
