Mid/Senior Python Backend Developer

Skills/Exposure: Python (Django, FastAPI), TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, CI/CD, event-driven architecture, DAGs, ML integration, and start-up/scale-up experience.

Salary: Up to £60,000 to £110,000

Location: UK, Fully Remote

We’ve partnered with a small but mighty generative AI-driven software house that is looking for two backend developers to develop a new range of products that are due to hit the market later this year & into next.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality software solutions across both new and existing systems. Working closely with product owners and senior engineers, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications. You’ll also support junior developers through mentoring and code reviews, while helping to uphold coding standards and best practices. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical ability, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building scalable, user-focused products.

Key Technologies You’ll Be Working With

• Backend: Python, Django, FastAPI, Nginx
• Frontend: TypeScript and associated libraries
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, Vector Database Solutions
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)
• Architecture: Event-based systems, Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs)
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP,
• DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices
• Machine Learning: Familiarity with concepts and integration
• Start/Scale-up experience would be a significant bonus as the team is highly agile.
