Location: Reading (3 days on-site per week)

Salary: Up to £45,000

We've partnered with a really nice, down-to-earth digital agency in Reading who are looking for a WordPress Developer to join their growing team. They've built a strong reputation for creating high-quality websites, web apps, and digital campaigns.

The Role

You'll work closely with designers and developers to bring creative ideas to life, building reliable, well-crafted WordPress sites that perform beautifully across all devices. The work is varied, everything from custom themes and plugins to API integrations and performance tuning.

You'll be involved in projects from concept through to delivery, contributing ideas, solving problems, and helping clients get the best out of their websites.

What You'll Need

• Around 2+ years' experience building WordPress websites.
• Solid PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery skills.
• Experience creating custom WordPress themes and functionality.
• A good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Nice to Have

• Experience with the LAMP stack.
• Awareness of accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Comfortable with deployment workflows (staging/production).
