Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus package

A well-established super prime residential main contractor is looking for an organised Document Controller / Construction Administrator to join its team in Farnham.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction document control experience who enjoys keeping projects organised and using technology to improve how information is managed. You will initially support the wider business, with the potential to take responsibility for document control and administration on a large residential project near Godalming.

As Document Controller / Construction Administrator, you will help ensure project information is accurate, organised and readily available. Working closely with office and site teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing construction drawings, specifications and project documents
- Maintaining document registers, revision records and clear filing systems
- Issuing and tracking information so teams have access to current documents
- Using the company's Smartsheet-based document control system
- Coordinating information between project teams, consultants and subcontractors
- Monitoring outstanding information and following up with the relevant people
- Supporting project administration, correspondence and meeting records
- Using Claude and other digital tools to streamline appropriate administration tasks
- Visiting the Godalming project to support the site team

- Excellent organisational skills and close attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new software
- Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in using them in your daily work
- The ability to learn the company's Smartsheet system and use Claude effectively
- Confidence communicating with office teams, site staff and external contacts
- A proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Easy access to Farnham and Godalming, ideally living in Surrey, Hampshire or West Sussex
- Flexibility to work from the office and visit sites
