AI and Automation Lead
Role Purpose
To establish and lead Reinvigoration’s AI and Automation capability, developing and delivering pragmatic, market-facing solutions that enhance operational transformation outcomes for clients.
The role focuses on the practical application of AI and automation to real operational problems, augmenting Reinvigoration’s existing consulting, Transformation and Operational Excellence service lines. The AI and Automation Lead will strengthen Reinvigoration’s Simplify4Scale® proposition by improving the speed, precision and scalability of value delivered to clients, while supporting Sector Leads in shaping and securing AI- and automation-enabled consulting opportunities.
This is a senior consulting role, focused on translating AI and automation into practical, outcome-led operational change rather than hands-on technology build.
Strategic Context
This role is central to the evolution of Reinvigoration’s Target Operating Model. As AI and Automation are embedded as a horizontal enabling capability, our focus is on augmenting deep operational expertise rather than creating a technology delivery function.
The AI and Automation Lead will work closely with Sector Leads and consulting teams to ensure AI and automation approaches are applied pragmatically and responsibly to accelerate outcomes across Financial Services, Public Sector and cross-sector engagements. The role also supports the continued development of Reinvigoration’s market proposition as a credible, grounded voice on AI- and automation-enabled operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
AI and Automation in Consulting Delivery
- Lead the design and delivery of client work that applies AI and automation to improve operational performance, efficiency and customer experience
- Embed AI- and automation-enabled insight and prioritisation within Simplify4Scale® engagements
- Translate AI and automation concepts into clear, practical operational actions for client executives and consulting teams
Proposition and Methods
- Develop repeatable methods, tools and accelerators that enhance Simplify4Scale® through the use of AI and automation
- Ensure approaches are outcome-driven, explainable and grounded in operational reality
Client and Market Engagement
- Partner with Sector Leads to shape AI- and automation-enabled consulting solutions and contribute to business development and bid activity
- Support marketing and thought leadership to position Reinvigoration as a pragmatic and credible voice on AI and automation in operations
Capability Development
- Shape and coordinate a scalable capability model, leveraging associates, partners and specialist tools to extend delivery capacity
- Contribute to learning and development by building confidence and fluency in AI and automation across consulting teams
Attributes and Experience
- Proven experience applying AI and automation within operational transformation or business improvement contexts
- Typically, 8 or more years’ experience in consulting, transformation or technology-enabled change roles
- Strong understanding of operating models, process improvement and data-driven decision-making
- Credible with senior stakeholders, able to bridge business need and technical enablement
- Collaborative, pragmatic and delivery-focused, with a focus on measurable outcomes

The role is remote with travel required to client sites.

This role pays a competitive base salary of between £80,000 to £95,000 dependent on experience. There is profit share in addition, and we offer the following benefits:
