Senior Account Executive – AI Solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and close new business opportunities with enterprise retail accounts
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and contract signature
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate key retail organisations
  • Build and maintain a strong, predictable pipeline aligned to revenue targets
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into clear commercial value and ROI-driven business cases
  • Lead discovery workshops and value conversations aligned to retailer priorities
  • Navigate complex buying groups and procurement processes
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and marketing teams to refine messaging and solution positioning
  • Represent the company at retail and technology industry events

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of B2B technology sales experience
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value enterprise deals
  • Experience selling AI, data analytics, SaaS, or enterprise software solutions
  • Strong understanding of retail commercial drivers.
  • Consultative, value-based sales approach with strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-suite and senior decision-makers
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience selling into retail organisations
