Workday HCM Consultant
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support Workday HCM implementations, enhancements, and post production support
• Configure and maintain core HCM modules including business process frameworks, security, and foundational setup
• Partner with HR and business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
• Support multiple HCM functional areas such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll depending on scope
• Design, test, and deploy business process changes, validations, and condition rules
• Support data loads and conversions using EIBs and Workday data tools
• Build and maintain standard and advanced reports and dashboards
• Provide system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution across HCM processes
• Support end users through documentation, training, and knowledge transfer
• Ensure configurations align with Workday best practices, security standards, and audit requirements
• Collaborate with integrations and technical teams as needed
Required Qualifications
• Active Workday HCM certification in one or more functional areas
• Hands on experience configuring Workday HCM in an implementation or production support environment
• Strong understanding of HCM business processes and HR operations
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and HR leadership
• Proficiency with Workday tools including business process framework, EIBs, reporting, and security
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Multiple Workday HCM certifications
• Experience supporting complex or multi tenant Workday environments
• Exposure to integrations, Prism Analytics, or Extend
• Experience in regulated or compliance driven environments
• Consulting or client facing experience
