The Role: What You’ll Be Building

We’re on the lookout for a talented, self-driven Full Stack Developer skilled in Java, Spring Framework, Flutter, PostgreSQL, and microservices. Your work will directly shape how landlords and tenants experience renting across the UK.

This isn’t just “bug fixing” or “ticket clearing.” This is high-impact engineering where your ideas and architecture choices genuinely matter.

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java + Spring Framework
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
• Optimise and manage PostgreSQL databases for stability, performance, and growth
• Craft beautiful, responsive, cross-platform UI using Flutter
• Write clean, reusable components that bring product features to life
• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Continue
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment is a strong advantage
• Experience with open-source toolsets is a plus
• Using Linux as your daily driver OS is an added advantage

What We Need From You (Our Must-Haves)

• 1–5 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Flutter
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Comfort using AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Continue, etc.)
• Bonus: familiarity with DevOps, open-source tools, and Linux environments
• Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Curiosity and passion for building, learning, and growing with a fast-moving startup
