Network Security Specialist

My Dublin-based client have a requirement for a Network Security Firewall Engineer to join the team!

This is a rolling contract (TBC) and there is an attractive daily rate on offer.

Responsibilities:
Configure/administrate firewall devices
Contribute to high & low-level design, supporting Network Architecture
Work with project managers, network engineers, system administrators, and developers.
Assist and support the wider Security Services function
Some incident response responsibilities

Ensure adherence to security policies

Provide out-of-hours cover when required

Required Experience:

• Solid technical foundation in firewall administration (5+ years experience)
• Extensive experience working with Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience in configuring firewall architectures within a hybrid cloud environment
• Strong proficiency in reporting and documentation
• Vendor Management experience
• Relevant certifications: PCNSE, Security certs ideal
