QA Automation Engineer |Contract | Westmeath

I'm working with my client to find a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer who has previous experience testing microservices in cloud.

This will be a daily rate contract role for a minimum of 6 months and requires you to be on site one day per week.

Responsibilities:

• Create test cases to identify areas that require improvement in line with the test plan.
• Develop a testing strategy that will cover all stages of the developmental lifecycle.
• Identify key issues and ensure that the correct action has been taken by engineers
• Work to agreed quality standards and industry best practices with a strong drive towards CI/CD, DevOps and automation.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years software testing experience in Automation Testing specifically
• Experience of testing Microservices in Cloud.
• Strong understanding of APIS
• Proven experience in developing verification test methods and recording test results.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
