Senior Governance, Compliance & Policy Manager - Day Rate Contract - Dublin

Responsibilities:

  • Promoting a culture of compliance within Financial Services activities
  • Participating in 2LOD Compliance Risk Governance Committees and attending relevant 1LOD Governance Committees
  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of comprehensive Compliance Policies
  • Reviewing and updating existing Compliance Policies to reflect new or amended Regulatory Requirements / Standards
  • Helping to develop an annual risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan
  • Engaging with Regulators regarding the Compliance Risk Framework, Policies, new Regulations etc
  • Ensuring all current and emerging compliance obligations are identified and integrated into new and updated Compliance Policies
  • Monitoring, identifying, advising on, and communicating the impacts of upcoming regulatory changes
  • Consulting with Legal on Compliance matters as needed
  • Developing and delivering a Compliance Training Programme


Essential Experience:

  • Min 5 years experience in a similar role within a Compliance/Risk/Audition function in Finance or Insurance
  • Professional compliance qualifcation or relevant degree
  • Experience working within a 3LOD Risk Management model
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging compliance risks, with practical experience in leading an effective control environment and the ability to benchmark and analyze various compliance risks
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
