Senior Governance, Compliance & Policy Manager - Day Rate Contract - Dublin

- Promoting a culture of compliance within Financial Services activities
- Participating in 2LOD Compliance Risk Governance Committees and attending relevant 1LOD Governance Committees
- Assisting in the creation and implementation of comprehensive Compliance Policies
- Reviewing and updating existing Compliance Policies to reflect new or amended Regulatory Requirements / Standards
- Helping to develop an annual risk-based Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Engaging with Regulators regarding the Compliance Risk Framework, Policies, new Regulations etc
- Ensuring all current and emerging compliance obligations are identified and integrated into new and updated Compliance Policies
- Monitoring, identifying, advising on, and communicating the impacts of upcoming regulatory changes
- Consulting with Legal on Compliance matters as needed
- Developing and delivering a Compliance Training Programme
Essential Experience:
- Min 5 years experience in a similar role within a Compliance/Risk/Audition function in Finance or Insurance
- Professional compliance qualifcation or relevant degree
- Experience working within a 3LOD Risk Management model
- Strong understanding of current and emerging compliance risks, with practical experience in leading an effective control environment and the ability to benchmark and analyze various compliance risks
- Strong analytical and communication skills
