Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect to join our team, partnering with leading financial services clients. You will leverage your deep understanding of the financial industry and data architecture expertise to design and implement innovative solutions that enable clients to harness their data as a strategic asset. Your responsibilities include assessing client data needs, designing data architectures, developing roadmaps aligned with business and data strategies, and translating business requirements into technical solutions that comply with regulatory standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry and how effective data architecture supports business objectives.
  • Extensive knowledge of data architecture principles, including designing scalable, efficient, and secure data systems.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes, specifically for financial data.
  • Proficiency in data modeling (logical and physical), with familiarity in normalization and denormalization techniques.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based data solutions and experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics tools, including creating dashboards, reports, and analytics for actionable insights.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data security best practices, especially within regulatory frameworks for financial services.

About the Candidate:

  • Experience with cloud data solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake.
  • Strong data modeling skills, both logical and physical, with knowledge of normalization techniques.
  • Deep understanding of the Financial Services Industry and how data architecture can meet organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with Data Quality Rules, Data Quality Dimensions, and resolution processes.
  • Proactive in staying updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data architecture and Microsoft technologies, applying this knowledge to innovate in financial services.
