An ambitious, global professional services firm is undertaking a significant investment programme to drive revenue growth, enhance global reach, and modernise its business services. A portfolio of strategic change initiatives is delivering scalable, forward-looking, and value-driven capabilities across the organisation.

The Change Management Office (CMO) oversees the governance and delivery of this investment portfolio, covering business process improvement and technology transformation. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and technology partners, the CMO ensures initiatives align with firm strategy and are delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality objectives.

As part of this transformation, the firm is delivering a Data, Reporting & Analytics (DRA) programme to establish a firm-wide reporting and analytics ecosystem underpinned by strong data governance and a unified data strategy.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a key Data Alignment Project, delivering both tactical improvements and long-term transformation in master data management.

This is a high-impact role requiring strong analytical capability, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience working with sensitive data in a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis activities for the Data Alignment Project
  • Analyse and document current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) data models, data flows, and business processes across core systems
  • Partner with data architecture and technology teams to define global end-to-end data processes
  • Conduct gap analysis between conceptual data models to identify improvements in data quality and governance
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Assess upstream and downstream data impacts across systems and processes
  • Champion automation of business processes and data flows where feasible
  • Support change management activities, identifying change impacts and contributing to effective adoption strategies
Required Experience
  • Proven experience supporting data-focused projects, including master data management, data alignment, data standardisation, or data governance
  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder organisations
  • Background in professional services, legal, or partnership-based environments
  • Experience supporting global or multi-region organisations
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 2 years at Senior level
  • 3+ years’ experience in process improvement
  • 3+ years’ experience using SQL
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation expertise
  • Experience in process modelling and improvement
  • Knowledge of data models and end-to-end data lineage
  • Experience improving data quality and identifying data deficiencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Experience applying Lean methodology
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Business solution-oriented mindset
Desirable Experience
  • Domain knowledge in Finance, HR, or Business Development
  • Business Analysis certification
  • Familiarity with data platforms, analytics tools, and integration architectures
  • Experience working in hybrid or Agile delivery environments
  • Knowledge of systems commonly used in professional services environments
