Lead Business Analyst

A leading international firm is seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Business Analyst to join its Change Team. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring a strategic thinker who can drive complex change initiatives while leading and mentoring a small team of Business Analysts.
You will act as the key bridge between executive stakeholders and technical teams, shaping business analysis strategy, overseeing deliverables, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable value. Alongside leadership responsibilities, you will remain actively involved in analysing complex business challenges, defining clear requirements, and supporting successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts
- Define and direct business analysis strategy across complex projects
- Identify root causes of business issues and evaluate solution options
- Elicit, document, and validate clear, traceable business requirements
- Model current and future state processes
- Manage senior stakeholders and third-party vendors
- Ensure solutions are aligned to business objectives and benefits are realised
Required Experience:
- Significant experience within the legal sector, ideally in an international firm
- Strong understanding of client onboarding, matter lifecycle processes, and legal financial systems (billing, e-billing, collections)
- Experience facilitating workshops and translating requirements into Agile user stories
- Proven knowledge of the full change and delivery lifecycle
Highly Beneficial:
- Experience working in both law firms and insurance firms
- Case management systems, insurance market knowledge, reporting and systems migration experience
- Business Analysis or Agile certification
