Network Engineer
We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong Fortinet/FortiGate expertise to join our team based in Bromley South. This is a fully on-site role requiring attendance in the office five days a week.
Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and support Fortinet/FortiGate firewall solutions
- Day-to-day management of FortiGate devices using FortiGate CLI
- Troubleshoot network and security issues across LAN/WAN environments
- Implement and maintain firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and routing
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security
- Work closely with internal teams to support business-critical systems
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a production environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
- Confident working with FortiGate CLI
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
- Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently
- Fortinet certifications (NSE 4 or above)
- Experience in a security-focused or enterprise environment
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools
This role is office-based in Bromley South, requiring 5 days per week on-site. Remote or hybrid working is not available for this position.
