MS Entra ID Product Owner – SSO Integration
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MS Entra ID Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Entra ID capabilities across the organisation. The role will have a strong focus on Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations, identity lifecycle management, authentication, and secure access to enterprise applications.
The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, security teams, application owners, and technical delivery teams, ensuring that Entra ID services meet business requirements while maintaining strong security, governance, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Microsoft Entra ID product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog.
- Lead the design and delivery of SSO integrations for SaaS, cloud, and enterprise applications.
- Work with application teams to onboard applications using SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and OAuth 2.0.
- Define integration patterns, authentication requirements, and acceptance criteria for new applications.
- Manage Entra ID capabilities including:
- Enterprise Applications and App Registrations
- SSO and federation
- Conditional Access
- MFA and authentication methods
- Application permissions and consent
- Identity lifecycle and access governance
- B2B/B2C scenarios where applicable
- Prioritise the product backlog based on business value, security risk, regulatory requirements, and user experience.
- Partner with Cyber Security, IAM, Infrastructure, Application, and Architecture teams.
- Establish and maintain standards for application onboarding and SSO integration.
- Monitor service performance, adoption, risks, technical debt, and integration issues.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of identity and access management processes.
- Translate complex technical identity requirements into clear business outcomes and actionable user stories.
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Ensure solutions align with Zero Trust principles and organisational security policies.
- Produce product documentation, roadmaps, governance processes, and stakeholder communications.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Lead within Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Strong hands-on understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Significant experience delivering SSO integrations across a large application estate.
- Practical knowledge of:
- SAML 2.0
- OAuth 2.0

- Microsoft Entra Enterprise Applications

- MFA
- RBAC and application permissions
- Experience gathering requirements and managing technical product backlogs.
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing application onboarding, integration dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines.
- Understanding of identity security, access governance, and Zero Trust principles.
Desirable Experience
- Microsoft certifications such as SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID Governance, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), or Access Reviews.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph API and identity automation.
- Experience integrating Entra ID with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Terraform, or other automation technologies.
- Experience working within regulated or highly security-conscious environments.
- Experience managing identity products within large enterprise environments.
