Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager

Location: Hybrid & Gloucestershire 2 days a week

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-known Salesforce customer, who is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager to take ownership of their Marketing Cloud Engagement platform and drive its continued evolution within their Digital team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong Marketing Cloud expert to step into a key role, acting as the Subject Matter Expert and shaping how the organisation delivers data-driven, customer-focused marketing at scale.

Based in the UK, this role requires 2 days per week in the Gloucestershire office.

The Role

As Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager, you will own, optimise, and continuously improve the organisation’s use of Marketing Cloud Engagement. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, ensuring campaigns, data, and automation strategies deliver real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement.
  • Own platform performance, optimisation, and ongoing development.
  • Design and deliver scalable digital marketing and CRM campaigns.
  • Lead audience segmentation and data management strategies.
  • Drive campaign automation and personalisation initiatives.
  • Support user adoption, training, and change management across teams.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with wider Salesforce teams, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and best practice standards.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification.
  • Experience in platform ownership, implementation, or management.
  • Proven delivery of large-scale digital marketing or CRM projects.
  • Solid understanding of campaign automation, segmentation, and marketing strategy.
  • Experience with email campaign delivery, including basic HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading training, adoption, or change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with wider Salesforce ecosystem products such as Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
