Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience administering Micro Focus and/or Rocket

Software enterprise tools.

• Strong proficiency in:

o Micro Focus Enterprise Server / Enterprise Developer / COBOL environments

o or Rocket Software tools (Rocket Terminal, Rocket Enterprise Automation,

Rocket Modernization tools)

• Deep understanding of Windows/Linux server environments.

• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python).

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).

• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Nagios, etc.).

• Strong expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and platform optimization.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, and load balancing.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
