Technical Sales Engineer
At Retail & Asset Solutions (RAS), we help retailers and supply chain businesses transform operations using cutting-edge technologies including RFID, SaaS platforms, mobile computing, Auto-ID, and Fixed Industrial Scanning (FIS).
We’re looking for a curious, hands-on technical problem solver to join our growing team.
This is not a traditional sales role. You’ll work closely with customers to understand operational challenges, design solutions, run demonstrations and Proof of Concepts, and help bring technology to life in real-world environments.
🔧 What you’ll be doing- Delivering technical demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
- Working with customers to understand requirements and recommend solutions
- Supporting RFID, Auto-ID, mobile computing, and FIS projects
- Assisting with integrations, APIs, and technical configuration
- Providing technical support and customer training
- Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
This role could suit:
- A Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Technical Support Engineer
- OR a recent graduate in a technical discipline looking for a hands-on customer-facing technology role
You’ll ideally have:
- Strong technical curiosity and problem-solving ability
- Confidence communicating with customers
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, or data flows
- Interest in emerging technologies and real-world operational systems
Experience with RFID, Auto-ID, Android devices, warehousing, retail technology, or industrial scanning would be advantageous.
