Data Lead

Data Lead | Up to £120,000 | London (Hybrid)

You’ll play a key role in evolving a modern data stack into a scalable, business-aligned fundction within a fast-growing, mission-driven platform with strong foundations and clear product–market fit.

You’ll operate as a hands-on data leader, owning strategy while still contributing technically across modelling, orchestration, ingestion and BI.

This is a critical hire, you will also explore and shape how AI sits within Data, helping users interpret data more responsibly, not just faster.

The environment is collaborative, pragmatic and ownership-driven, with a clear path toward Data Director as the function formalises.

Stack: BigQuery, dbt Core, Airflow, Airbyte, Python, LLMs

What do you need?

• Strong commercial experience in data engineering/analytics engineering roles
• Proven experience leading a small data team
• Deep data modelling expertise
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, dbt and Airflow
• Exposure to AI/LLM tooling (commercial or personal) and an interest in how it can be applied to data interpretation
