Senior Engineering Manager

Senior Engineering Manager | London (Hybrid) | Up to £130,000

Exciting and global scale-up, looking for an experienced manager to take their engineering function to the next stage of growth.

This is a people-first leadership role focused on growing engineers, improving performance, and strengthening team health. You will be embedded in squad activity while focusing on coaching, progression, and performance management.

You’ll own 1:1s, development plans, and performance conversations, help shape IC progression frameworks, and ensure engineers have clear growth paths. You’ll also support delivery by identifying risks early, improving team dynamics, and acting as a bridge between engineers and leadership.

• Proven experience managing 8+ software engineers
• Strong experience in performance management and difficult feedback conversations
• Exposure to IC progression frameworks and career development
