Data Engineer

A major UK financial services organisation has secured funding for a multi-year AI transformation and modernisation programme. We're hiring a Data Engineer to build scalable, well-governed pipelines that support AI, analytics and regulatory reporting.

What you'll be doing

Build and maintain high-quality data pipelines (batch + streaming)

Work with Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Python

Create reusable ETL/ELT patterns that scale with the AI platform

Collaborate with ML, BI and governance teams

Support metadata, lineage, data quality and regulatory reporting needs

What you'll need

Strong Python + SQL

Azure Data Engineering experience

Familiarity with Fabric or lakehouse architectures

Experience in FS or other regulated industries

Interest in supporting responsible AI capability
