Lead Data Scientist - London

The role is actually titled as a "Lead", that is due to owning your particular workstream, so you can put your own stamp on things, it is not leading a team however. It can suit people with as little as 4 years experience.
The salary is 64K base with a 5% bonus (half of which is guaranteed, the other half, usually achieved) I appreciate more money can be achieved elsewhere, I still think these guys are great. fantastic environment and people.
Hybrid - 2 days a week close to London bridge. (Some weeks may be one day)
You 'll be working on some really interesting initiatives and have the below responsibilities
Lead the delivery of analytical and machine learning workstreams, ensuring models and outputs are robust, repeatable, and aligned with business needs.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, architects, and product teams to ensure analytical outputs are technically sound and ready for operational use.
Uphold best practices in coding, documentation, reproducibility, version control, and model assurance.
Occasionally mentoring more junior peers
They're pretty cloud agnostic, Azure would be great though. Looking for the below skill set:
Strong experience delivering applied data science or ML projects end‐to‐end, including feature engineering, model selection, evaluation, and iteration.
Strong experience developing solutions in Python, with good practices around code structure, testing, and version control.
Experience in translating business problems into analytical approaches, and designing modelling strategies.
