This role gives you real-world experience in high-impact environments, supporting the automation, deployment, and performance of internal systems that power global business operations.

What is CDS?

Corporate Data Services (CDS) is the heart of internal data operations. It manages how data is moved, integrated, monitored, and secured across the organisation — enabling smarter decisions and ensuring reliable performance across systems.

As a CDS DevOps Engineer, you'll be involved in:

  • Automating deployments and environments
  • Monitoring system health and performance
  • Supporting integration and data flow between critical applications

Essential Requirements:

  • Must pass a Java or Python technical test during the recruitment process
  • Demonstrated exposure to development (study, experience, or projects)
  • If no formal Java/Python background, experience in another OOP language (e.g. C# or JavaScript)
  • Preferred: Full Stack or Back-End Development experience
  • Exposure to working in Agile environments
  • Understanding of APIs and system integrations

Highly Desirable Experience (varies by team):

  • DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, version control, scripting)
  • Experience working with Linux environments
  • Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and dashboards
  • Knowledge of databases (e.g. Oracle, MongoDB, RDBMS, SQL)
  • Familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS), Spring Boot, or Apache Kafka
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools

This is a full-time, salaried role where you'll earn while you learn, build in-demand skills, and gain long-term career exposure with a global financial leader.
