Linux System Administrator

Our client are a global consulting firm, they are on the lookout for a Linux System Administrator to come in on a contract basis.

Key Skills/Requirements:

• OS Expertise: experience in enterprise Linux systems administration, including deep knowledge of Kernel configurations, file systems, security hardening, and performance tuning
• Good understanding of Docker architecture and microservice patterns.
• Experience using Portainer to manage container endpoints, stacks, images, and volumes.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation, log parsing, and API integrations.
• Experience with public key infrastructure (PKI), OpenSSL, and automated certificate tools.
• Experience configuring secure file transfer protocols (SFTP) using tools like OpenSSH along with strong network security fundamentals.

Contract is running until the end of Feb 2027 initially, paying up to £415p/day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and will be fully remote within the UK.
